Point of View ION motherboards gets pictured

Posted on Thursday, May 07 2009 @ 16:19:54 CEST by

FUD Zilla has exclusive pictures of the upcoming NVIDIA ION based mini-ITX motherboard from Point of View. This tiny board features a NVIDIA MCP7A-ION chipset along with the Intel Atom 230 or 330 processor. There are two memory slots that support up to 2GB 667/800MHz DDR2 and there's also a PCI Express x16 slot.
As you can see from the picture below, this board will need a standard PSU as it has a 24-pin power connector. The rest of the features include four SATA ports, a Realtek ALC662 5.1-channel audio chip with optical SPDIF output, six USB ports of which two are via a header, DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs and Gigabit LAN. The ION chipset and the Atom processor are cooled by separate heatsinks.
