ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE has aluminum housing

ASUS will soon release the Eee PC 1002HAE, this netbook sets itself apart by offering an aluminum enclosure. Inside the system is the Intel Atom N280 1.6GHz processor, 1GB DDR2 memory, 160GB HDD, 10" 1024 x 600 pixel LED backlit display, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 1.3MP webcam and memory card reader. The ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE weighs 1.2kg and features a li-polymer battery that should offer 3.8 hours of battery life.

It will be available in Japan starting from May 16th for ¥49,800 (about $506), it's unknown when or if other parts of the world will receive this netbook model.
