NVIDIA, VISTA & CRT Refresh Rates

Accelenation has written an article to try to help out those GeForce owners struggling to exceed 60Hz in games on their CRT under Vista. This fix also works for Crysis, which is particularly stubborn. You can read it over here.
Getting a CRT display off 60Hz, especially in 3D games, has been a bone I’ve gnawed on for well over a decade. I’ve investigated solutions under ATI & NVIDIA graphics cards dating back to Windows 95. When Windows XP was released we thought the problem had been addressed, but still it appeared from time to time to haunt us. Before Windows Vista arrived I had just about managed to exercise all these cantankerous spirits, but of course, evil Vista has managed to raise the dead!
