TC Mag wrote Acer is prepping the Aspire One 571, this netbook uses the Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor and the Quartics QV1721 multimedia coprocessor to deliver full support for 720p HD video. The Quartics chip actually provides full 1080p encoding and decoding support, but only 720p will be of much use since this netbook has a 10.1" display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.
Resembling the 'regular' D150 versions, this new model, named Aspire One 571, is powered by an Atom N280 (1.66GHz) CPU, comes with a 10.1-inch screen boasting a maximum resolution of 1280x720 pixels and is equipped with a Vmedia disc drive (left of the touchpad). The Vmedia discs have a 32mm diameter, one third that of CD/DVDs, and can hold up to 1GB of data (2GB versions are coming too).
