AMD to debut 45nm notebook platform at Computex

Taiwanese newspaper Commercial Times claims AMD will debut its Tigris notebook platform at Computex next month, this platform features the 45nm dual-core Caspian Processor, RS880M chipsets and a 40/55nm M9x GPU. Tigris will mainly target notebooks larger than 14", while the Yukon and Congo platforms are aimed at 13" and smaller.
AMD's notebook platform for 2010 may also be revealed, the paper noted. The platform features a 45nm quad-core Champlain processor and SB8xxM series chipset. DDR3 memory and USB 3.0 will be supported, while the GPU will be updated AMD's next-generation Manhattan series, the paper detailed.
