Intel 32nm Medfield for smartphones arrives in 2011

UMPCPortal has published some slides from Intel that detail the company's plans for the mobile market. One of the things Intel talks about is Medfield, this is a 32nm chip that will arrive in 2011, it will be the first Atom chip that specifically targets the mainstream smartphone market. The first slide shows where Medfield fits in. Its built on a 32nm process and there’s a clear move towards smartphones and you can see that, along with the important 400 million market figure! (TAM=Total Addressable Market.) in the slide below. Timeframe is 2011.
