Super Talent MaserDrive EX2 and MasterDrive IX2 PATA SSDs launched

Super Talent has released new 2.5" Parallel ATA solid state disks today; the MasterDrive EX2 and MasterDrive IX2. These two models are aimed at embedded and ruggedized systems that don't have SATA.

The EX2 model uses MLC flash memory and comes in capacities of 16GB to 128GB, these drives promise sequential read speeds of up to 80MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 40MB/s. The IX2 models on the other hand feature SLC flash memory, they are available from 16GB to 64GB and have sequential read speeds of up to 80MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 60MB/s.
The MasterDrive EX2 is available with capacities from 16GB to 128GB, features sequential read speeds up to 80 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 40MB/s, and uses MLC flash. It also comes with a 2 year factory warranty.

The MasterDrive IX2 is available with capacities from 16GB to 64GB, enables sequential read speeds up to 80 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 60MB/s, and uses SLC flash. It also comes with a 3 year factory warranty.
