Cooling specialist Zalman
presented a new 500W power supply with an efficiency of up to 87 percent - the ZM500-RS. The unit has two +12V rails with a max output of 22A, it's cooled by a 120mm fan and should be available soon for around 92EUR.
The PSU has two 12V rails peaking at 22A, has everything from Over-Voltage to Over-Current, Short-Circuit, Under-Voltage, and Over-Temperature protection, and is equipped with a 120mm Hydro Bearing fan. The Zalman ZM500-RS has already started to appear in stores with a price tag of about 92 Euro.
