DigiTimes reports Acer has cut order volumes of its 11.6" Aspire One AO751h netbook due to disappointing sales. The report mentions consumers are opting for the cheaper 10" models or larger notebooks that offer better performance at a similar price range.
Recent sales of the 11.6-inch netbook have not meet expectations as consumers are picking 10-inch models that offer cheaper prices and better mobility or traditional notebooks that provide better performance at a similar price range. However, as prices continue to decline, 11.6-inch netbooks may reach a sweet spot for consumers, the sources added.
