Acer seeing lack of demand for 11.6-inch netbooks

Posted on Tuesday, June 02 2009 @ 07:46:42 CEST by

DigiTimes reports Acer has cut order volumes of its 11.6" Aspire One AO751h netbook due to disappointing sales. The report mentions consumers are opting for the cheaper 10" models or larger notebooks that offer better performance at a similar price range.

However, as prices continue to decline, 11.6-inch netbooks may reach a sweet spot for consumers, the sources added.
