OCZ presented the Colossus solid state disk at Computex, this 3.5" model will be available within eight weeks in 512GB and 1TB capacities! Inside the disk is MLC NAND flash memory, two Indilinx SSD controllers and JMicron controller for RAID 0. OCZ says the Colossus will deliver read speeds of up to 250MB/s and write speeds of up to 220MB/s. Pricing is unknown, but 1TB of flash memory can't be affordable.
