Longtime rivals Microsoft and Sun Microsystems have made a "180-degree U-turn" in their relationship since signing a legal and technical truce in April, Sun's chief technology officer said Wednesday, and plan to disclose early next year their progress on some customers' No. 1 complaint about the companies: that it's too hard to make their software work together..
