MSI introduced the X-Slim X600, a new Intel CULV platform based notebook with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card. The system has a 15.6" LCD display, Intel 723/SU3500/SU9600 ULV processor, 512MB DDR2 memory (max 4GB), 2.5" 320/500GB HDD, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, 1.3MP webcam, 2-in-1 memory card reader, eSATA, two USB 2.0 ports, and an external DVD burner (optional Blu-ray).

The MSI X-Slim X600 measures 392mm x 255mm x 25mm and weighs 2.1kg with a 6-cell battery that promises 4.5 hours of battery life.
Ultimate Expression of Slim Aesthetics
The lines of the X600 were inspired by the round shape of a feather. The feather represents lightness and the styling makes the notebook impression of stiffness a thing of the past. What makes the X600 stand out is that it weighs just 2.1kg with the batteries fitted, making it possibly the lightest and thinnest 15.6" notebook in the world.

These exclusive features as well as the special glossy IMR treatment mean the X600 not only radiates a stylish minimalist allure but is also a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The X600 keyboard also incorporates MSI's proprietary curved thin film for a more ergonomic key-in experience. This has been proven through actual trials to offer users a more comfortable and stress-free experience.

An Exciting Visual Extravaganza
The discrete high-end ATI 3D graphics card in the X600 gives the display richer colors and more details to create a breathtaking ultra-realistic visual experience. The extra-large 15.6" mirror-surface LCD widescreen display expands the field of view and delivers high quality DVD video in all of its glory. Whether used for computer games or watching DVD movies, the X600 guarantees totally immersive visual effects.

The 16:9 aspect ratio display is particularly well suited to High Definition video. When equipped with the optional Blu-Ray optical drive, the 50GB of storage on Blu-Ray discs can be played at 1080p for exceptional video quality. The 2nd generation Dobly® Surround Sound cinema-grade 4-speaker design of the X600 will wow you whether you are watching movies, TV or listening to music.

That's not all the X600 has to offer in terms of multimedia performance. The HDMI interface not only offers a video bandwidth of 5GB at a resolution of 1080p but also delivers the most realistic video quality without the old cable clutter. The new external E-SATA port with transfer rates of up to 3GB/s is also supported for even better performance and hot swap support. With this feature, you can store your precious photos, videos and other entertainment data on external storage devices with ease.

Even More Wireless Mobility
The optional WiMAX™ (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) module greatly boosts the wireless broadband connectivity of the X600 to make Internet access even more accessible, speedy and mobile. Whether you are in a café, at university, in the office, at the airport or on the road, with WiMAX™ you are always in touch with the rest of the world and up to date!

The X600 also offers integrated 802.11 b/g/n Wi-FI® wireless local area networking in addition to WiMAX. Enjoy the convenience of wireless Internet access and make mobile living a reality! Even Bluetooth support is offered so you don't need cables to connect your mobile phone, headphones or PDA. Say goodbye to cable clutter once and for all!

Ultra-Long Battery Endurance
The X600 uses the latest Lithium-Polymer battery combined with Intel's new CULV platform to deliver extreme battery endurance. When a standard 6-cell battery is used, an endurance of 4.5 hours can be achieved. High capacity 9-cell battery packs are also available to extend the endurance of your X600 even further. The X600 also comes with MSI's proprietary ECO Engine power management mode so you can choose the usage scenario you need. Five scenario modes are available. You can select between Text, Gaming, Cinema, Briefing and Turbo Battery mode for different combinations of screen brightness, screen power, auto hibernation and automatic CPU stepping options to achieve the optimal balance between performance and battery life. The improved mobility and productivity offered by the X600 will bring you an unrivalled level of convenience in your life!

It's a very good laptop because it comes up with a 15.6 inch wide screen in 16:9 formats. The solution lays in something special's 1366 x 768 pixels. The machine is based on the Culver-platform, with an Intel Core 2 Solo U3500 1.4 GHz processor in the heart. It all comes also with 4 GB of internal memory and an ATI Radeon HD 4330 graphics adapter. The screen that sits in the X-slim X600 has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels on its 15.6-inch wide screen. The format is 16:6, and the whole thing is lit by LEDs. A little more firepower at maximum brightness had not done anything, so could the users themselves rather have this crude down afterwards.
