Intel Pineview-D Atom to be passively cooled

FUD Zilla heard Intel's upcoming single- and dual-core "Pineview-D" Atom processors will not require active cooling, as the TDP of these chips has been reduced by 50 percent compared to the original 2008 Atom platform. The performance of the new Atom platform will not be a lot higher, its main benefit will be lower power consumption.
Due to this, the fanless systems are desirable and possible and Intel believes that this will result with a lower build of material cost and since the system without moving parts is possible, this will be the opportunity to save a dollar or two on the future repairs as fans, do break after some time.
Furthermore, the site also heard that the Pineview-D platform will feature integrated DirectX 9 graphics, though I doubt this will be of any use for gaming.
