Acer aims to ship 2 million ultrathin notebooks this quarter

Acer is expected to ship two million ultra-thin notebooks this quarter:

Acer's ultra-thin notebook shipments are expected to top two million units during the July-September period as its plans to push sales of the lineup in the third quarter, according to industry sources.

Wistron is estimated to have landed orders for more than one million units and Inventec around 800,000-1 million units.
