Intel LGA775 to stick around at least until 2011

Posted on Monday, July 13 2009 @ 02:36:18 CEST by

FUD Zilla reports Intel's LGA775 platform will be around at least until 2011:
In 2011 when it comes to desktop CPUs Intel should have at least three major sockets, LGA775, LGA1366 and LGA1156, and it's possible that there might be some more. If you count the Atom socket, you can already claim it has four. It is also highly likely that Intel might be selling some LGA775 chips and boards even beyond 2011.
