Intel Pine Trail-D platform and Clarkdale delayed to Q1 2010

DigiTimes reports Intel's Pine Trail-D platform for nettops and the Clarkdale lineup are now scheduled for the first quarter of 2010. The site heard Intel has changed its strategy to push mainstream PCs in the second half of 2009, most entry-level products have been pushed into 2010. Additionally, DigiTimes also reports the 32nm six-core Core i9 "Gulftown" series is also slated for Q1 2010.
The Pine Trail-D platform combines Intel's dual-core Atom D510 or single-core Atom D410 processor with NM10 chipset.

Intel will launch two Core i3 processors clocked at 2.93GHz and 3.06GHz, and priced at US$123 and US143 in thousand-unit tray quantities, respectively, in the first quarter of 2010. The company will also launch a Pentium processor clocked at 2.83GHz and priced at US$87.

Intel will also launch three Core i5 processors clocked at 3.2GHz, 3.33GHz and 3.46GHz with prices of US$176, US$196 and US$284, respectively.

Intel will launch the Core i5-750 (US$196), Core i7-860 (US$284) and Core i7-870 (US$562) in early September, along with the low-power Core i5-750s (US$259) and Core i7-860s (US$337) processors.
