Apple ships 2TB Time Capsule for $499

Apple has added a 2TB version of its Time Capsule, this model is now shipping for $499 while the 1TB model dropped to $299. Must suck for the people who bought the 1TB edition earlier this month and paid the full $499.

Back up a lifetime's worth of memories with the Time Capsule, a wireless hard drive that works seamlessly with Time Machine in Mac OS X Leopard. It’s also a full-featured 802.11n Wi-Fi base station with simultaneous dual-band support. Choose from 1TB and 2TB models.
