OCZ Z-Series power supplies have 80 Plus Gold

OCZ has introduced four Z-Series power supplies, these units are available in 850W and 1000W models with and without modular cables. They set themselves apart from the pack by offering 80 Plus Gold certification, test reports from 80 Plus indicate the modular 1000W model features an efficiency of 88.23 percent at 20 percent load, 90.93 percent at 50 percent load and 89.20 percent at full load. The test report of the modular 850W unit shows this model has an efficiency of 88.04 percent at 20 percent load, 90.63 percent at half load and 89.06 percent at full load.

The OCZ Z-Series PSUs are cooled by a 135mm fan and are certified to operate at industrial levels (50°C). The 1000W model features one powerful 83A +12V rail, while the 850W model has a 71A rail. Both models come with a 5-year warranty.
