OCZ Colossus 1TB SSD coming this month for $2,200

OCZ announced its Colossus solid state disks will be released by late August, this series uses Indilinx SSD controllers and features massive amounts of MLC NAND flash memory. The OCZ Colossus will ship in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB versions for around $300, $650, $1,200 and $2,200, respectively.

Two months ago OCZ said these drives would feature read speeds of up to 250MB/s and write speeds of up to 220MB/s.
