Hack to enable SLI on Intel X38/X48/P45 motherboards

Posted on Thursday, August 06 2009 @ 17:49:50 CEST by

Expreview reports Firewings [CCG]), one of their forum users, has managed to get SLI to work on an Intel X38/X48/P45 based motherboards. At present it only works in Windows' safe mode, but Firewings [CCG] is confident it will soon work in normal mode as well.
By installing the software that Firewings [CCG] provides us, we managed to enable SLI configuration in Directory Services Restore Mode. Due to some “small problems” according to Firewings [CCG], the SLI configuration can’t be realized in normal mode for now, but he says this will be fixed soon.
