PowerColor ships PCS HD 4770 with Arctic Cooling cooler

Posted on Friday, August 07 2009 @ 14:56:47 CEST by

PowerColor has introduced a new Radeon HD 4770 graphics card that uses a VGA cooler from Arctic Cooling with a large 92mm fan. The card features stock clockspeeds, it has a 750MHz core and 512MB GDDR5 memory clocked at 800MHz. It will be available next week for around $109.
The PowerColor PCS HD4770 clocks in with a 750MHz core speed and 800MHz of memory speed. Added to the HD4770 is our Professional Cooling Solution (PCS) made by ARCTIC COOLING. The specially designed 92mm cooling fan dissipates the heat from the GPU and memory more efficiently than a standard fan, providing a cool operating environment.

“The HD4770 was a breakthrough in graphic card manufacturing with its 40nm process,” said Ted Chen, CEO of TUL Corporation. “In anticipation of overcoming the many challenges of the new manufacturing process, PowerColor is ready to move forward with an even more powerful upgrade to the HD4770 family.”
