Intel Pentium E6500K with unlocked multiplier shipping in China

Asian tech site Expreview reports a new Intel Pentium E6500K processor model has hit stores in Guangzhou, China. With this model Intel seems to be aiming at overclockers, the chip features an unlocked multiplier and isn't bundled with Intel's stock processor cooler. The Pentium E6500K is a 45nm chip with 2.93GHz clockspeed, 1066MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache and support for Intel VT.

The site reports the Pentium E6500K is sold in a bundle with the Biostar TP45E Combo motherboard for 1,299 yuan, which equals around $190. The CPU is expected to cost around $84.
