SSD Roundup August 2009 @ Driverheaven

When we last looked at SSDs in June it was clear that they had reached a place where there were three main controller manufacturers; Intel, Indilinx and Samsung. One of the initial pioneers of the technology, JMicron, had not released a new generation of controllers which could compete with these three. As a result all but one of the drives in that roundup was based on Indilinx, Intel or Samsung technology.

A few months down the line and two further companies have brought to market drives based on Samsung and Indilinx controllers. Today we take a look at those products to see what Corsair and Crucial offer us. Also included in this review is an updated SSD from OCZ which takes their excellent Indilinx based Vertex range and enhances the performance to create the Vertex Turbo. Read more at DriverHeaven.
