The average contract price of 1Gb DDR3 chips has continued to rally to US$1.50 in the first half of August, up 11.9% sequentially, according to data gathered by DRAMeXchange. DRAMeXchange reports the contract price of 1Gb DDR3 memory chips has rallied 11.9 percent to $1.50 in the first half of August. At the spot market, 1Gb DDR3 memory chips are now priced at $2.16.
