Posted on Saturday, August 22 2009 @ 15:42:44 CEST by

Expreview found a bunch of photos of the upcoming Sabertooth 55i motherboard from ASUS, this is the first mainboard in the company's TUF lineup. This Intel P55 based model features 12+2 Xtreme phase design, CeraM!X heatsink coating tech that provides 50% larger surface for heat dissipation, CoolMem! custom fan frame that enables you to install fans to cool your memory, dual PCIe x16 slots with support for SLI and CrossFireX, three PCIe x1 slots and two PCI slots.
Similar with Marine Cool mobo presented at CeBIT 2009 in appearance, the SaberTooth 55i is based on P55 chipset, featuring 12+2 Xtreme phase design and CeraM!X Heat-sink Coating Technology which claims to provide 50% larger area for heat dissipation to ensure ultimate coolness for stability.
The TUF series will be cheaper than ASUS' ROG series, but more details about the pricing and availability of the Sabertooth 55i are unknown.
