DigiTimes reports MSI is planning to release AMD Yukon-based ultra-thin notebooks, these systems may appear by October 2009 at the earliest. The site also notes that AMD's Tigris notebook platform may be delayed to late-October.
MSI has completed the testing on the Yukon-based models but has not yet decided the launch date due to the low adoption rate of Yukon models in the market, the sources noted.

In the related news, launch of AMD's upcoming Tigris notebook platform may be postponed to late-October as future notebook demand remains opaque, and related notebook models from vendors may not appear in the channel until November, the sources noted.
