Shuttle may enter notebook market

DigiTimes claims SFF maker Shuttle is planning to make a move into the notebook market. The site heard rumors that Shuttle is looking to recruit a 40-member notebook team from ECS, and raise capital by issuing new shares.
Small form factor PC maker Shuttle is again speculated to be moving into the notebook market with rumors it is looking to recruit a 40-member notebook team from Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), according to market sources.

In addition, Shuttle also plans to increase its capital by issuing of 150,000 new shares through a private placement and will target Inventec chairman Kou-I Yeh as one of the potential investors, the sources noted.
