ASUS EeeBox EB1012 ION based nettop revealed

ASUS unveiled details about its upcoming EeeBox PC EB1012, this new nettop is based on the NVIDIA ION platform and uses the Intel Atom N330 processor. The system runs Windows Vista Home Premium and features 2GB DDR2-800 memory, NVIDIA MCP7A ION chipset, a 2.5" 250GB SATA HDD, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, memory card reader, eSATA, S/PDIF out, and HDMI. The ASUS EeeBOX PC EB1012 measures 222mm x 178mm x 26.9mm and weighs 1.1kg.

ASUS claims this nettop consumes up to 80 percent less power than a typical desktop, and is the ideal Full HD 1080p entertainment center for your living room. Pricing and availability is unknown.
