AMD about to launch four new laptop CPUs

Posted on Thursday, September 03 2009 @ 16:57:19 CEST by

FUD Zilla writes AMD is going to roll out four new mobile processors within the next couple of days:
First of them is AMD Turion II Ultra dual-core mobile CPU that should work all the way to 2.6GHz. The runner up is AMD Turion II with two cores and slower frequency followed by the slower but dual-core Athlon II.

The Sempron is still with us, and this is still single core CPU. AMD plans an early September launch and they are mostly based on either Caspian code, that fits the mainstream notebook or Conesus something meant for 2nd generation ultrathins, let's call it Neo 2.
