Lenovo and Acer are working on NVIDIA Tegra based smartbooks with the Google Chrome OS, according to a report by Shanzai. The site claims these devices will be launched by mid-2010.

So far there's no concrete indication whether or not these devices will fall neatly in to the emerging smartbook category, although that certainly seems to be the most likely scenario.
