VR Zone has compiled a roadmap with data they gathered regarding the expected launch dates of AMD's upcoming 800 series Northbridge and Southbridge chipsets. The AMD 890FX/GX + SB850 are part of the Leo platform, this is expected in April 2010 and will replace the AMD 790FX/GX + SB750 chipsets. The AMD 880G + SB810 are part of the Dorado mainstream platform, this is expected to replace the AMD 785G + SB710 in May 2010.
AMD 880G comes with enhanced IGP graphics performance which we presume is DX11 capable and sports the next generation ATI Hybrid graphics technology. Overall, the AMD 880G board could be priced cheaper due to the integrated clock generator and integrated Broadcom MAC.
