Intel X25-V 34nm value SSDs expected in Q4 2009

Intel revealed it plans to introduce the X25-V solid state disk in the fourth quarter of this year, this lineup will feature a cheap 40GB 34nm SSD.
Intel promises competitive performance that should help lowering the costs and we reckon they might be trying to sell them to notebook manufacturers as part of Atom or CULV platform, where price and battery life play an important role.
