ATI Radeon HD 5870 X2 to arrive in late October

FUD Zilla reports ATI delayed the introduction of the Radeon HD 5870 X2 to late October due to driver problems:

The card codenamed R800, something that AMD plans to brand as Radeon HD 5870 X2, will not be launching simultaneously with the single chi Radeon HD 5870 card codenamed Cypress.

The top-end dual-GPU enthusiast card, Radeon HD 5870 X2, should come roughly a month after Radeon HD 5870 which is scheduled for September 22rd / 23rd depending on the global region.
