MSI presents the 12.1" Wind12 U210, a new $430 netbook that features the AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processor. Other features include the AMD RS690 + SB600 chipsets, ATI Radeon X1250 integrated graphics, 1,366 x 768 pixel LCD display, 2GB DDR2 memory, 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 1.3MP webcam, HDMI, three USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 memory card reader, optional 6-cell battery, and Windows Vista Home Premium. The system measures 297x 190 x 24-31mm and weighs 1.3kg with a 3-cell battery.
Meet the newest offering from MSI, the 12.1" Wind12 U210 notebook! Featuring a wide-screen 16:9 aspect ratio, LED backlit display, the latest ultra-thin power saving processor, and MSI's own ECO Engine power saving technology make the Wind12 U210 an ultra slim notebook with extended battery life. Including battery, total weight is 1.3 kg. While lightweight, the display is actually wider than other notebooks, giving this mini a better set of features at an agreeable price. With pre-installed MSI exclusive software bundles, this 12.1" notebook offers outstanding value.

Big Display, Highly Portable
The MSI Wind12 U210's shows off gracefully arched lines along an exterior that has a footprint smaller than the size of a sheet of A4 paper (297 x 190 mm). Weighing in a mere 1.3 kg with battery and a 12.1" display, the MSI Wind12 U210 is a convenient, highly portable, and elegant mini-notebook. It's so lightweight and compact that if you put it in your satchel, you'd probably forget it was even in there. Despite its portability, the 12.1", 16:9 aspect ratio, 1366 x 768 high resolution display provides a picture that is wider, brighter, and has better color saturation—giving you an awesome visual experience.

Amazingly Effortless Typing
The MSI Wind12 U210 notebook not only creates a visual feast with a widescreen display, crisp images, and rich colors housed in a high-grade exterior case, it also features MSI's own EDS (Ergonomic De-stress) keyboard. 51% larger key surfaces, a larger keyboard, and improved finger contact range produce an optimal ergonomic curvature for unhindered and comfortable typing. Tests have proven that the EDS keyboard reduces stress to fingers and wrists. This decreased pressure allows you to go on typing for hours while feeling nothing but the smooth and natural flow of the EDS keyboard experience.

Extended Battery Life
Battery efficiency is a key consideration when purchasing a notebook. With the Wind12 U210's ultra-thin, power saving processor platform, MSI's 22 years of manufacturing prowess, built-in ECO Engine power saving technology, and a 12.1" LED backlit display, battery life is pushed to the edge of the envelope to provide you with an extended power supply. In testing, the MSI Wind12 U210's 6-cell battery, used in tandem with unit's Turbo Battery mode, achieved a battery life of 4 hours—twice the stamina of standard 12" notebook batteries.

Built-in Security; Unlimited Entertainment Options
The Wind12 U210's built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam comes with numerous camera and image software applications. Not only do you get richly colorful image & entertainment functionality, but it also provides a high grade data protection mechanism. First, the U210's comes with Easy Face, MSI's independently developed face recognition software. Easy Face uses the unit's webcam to scan your facial features and compare them to a stored image—meaning only you can login to the U210. Besides this optimal data security and protection functions, the Wind12 U210's webcam also comes with MSI's all-new webcam application software, including: Webcam Companion, Visual Effect2, and Print Creation. This software gives you the freedom to edit, print, and share all of your precious images captured with the built-in webcam.
