ASUS introduced the G60J and M60J laptops, two new systems that adopt Intel's latest Core i7 processors. The G60J (pictured below) is part of the Republic of Gamers brand, it's a 16" model with 1366 x 768 pixel display, Windows 7 Home Premium and an illuminated keyboard. It uses the Core i7 720QM, 4GB DDR3 memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB graphics, two 500GB HDDs, a 8x DVD burner, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, 2MP webcam and a 8-in-1 memory card reader. It will ship in late October for around 1,900EUR.
Another new laptop from ASUS is the M60J, this Windows 7 Home Premium system has a 16" 1366 x 768 pixel LCD display and comes with either the Core i7 820QM or 720QM. It weighs 3.3kg and features 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M graphics, 250/320/500GB HDD, DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive, 2MP webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, and a 4-in-1 memory card reader. It's expected to be available by late October for around 1,450EUR.
