DigiTimes reports Intel will roll out a refresh of its ultra-thin notebook platform in the fourth quarter of this year, the new lineup will include more dual-core processors.
Intel will replace the Core 2 Solo SU3000 with the Core 2 Duo SU7000; Pentium SU2000 with Core 2 Duo SU4000 and single-core Celeron with dual-core Celeron SU3000, however the single-core Celeron 700 will be kept for the entry-level market, as well as the SU9000 for the high-end market, the sources noted.
The site also heard Intel will debut the Pine Trail-M platform for netbooks in December, although it will take until Q1 2010 before these systems will be available.
