Windows 7 may grow tablet PC market

Sources at notebook makers told DigiTimes that Windows 7 may have a positive effect on the tablet PC market:
The multi-touch features of Windows 7 may make tablet PCs, rather than touchscreen notebooks, a focus among vendors in 2010, due to better ergonomics, according to sources from notebook makers.

The sources predicted that PC vendors are unlikely to launch many touchscreen notebooks in 2010 based on their current notebook scheduling, but discussion on tablet PCs has started to increase in the industry
