Google Chrome OS netbooks to appear by mid-October?

Shanzai claims the first netbooks with the Google Chrome OS will start to appear in mid-October in Asia:

Our trusted industry insider sources say that devices sporting Google’s much trumpeted Chrome OS will start to appear in mid October. Ergo the shanzhai players are bound to be out with devices shortly before or after that time period as well. Netbooks are the initial target category for the new OS but if it’s well received at all you can easily imagine, UMPCs or even tablets taking on the operating system.
