Hardware hall of shame (list of failure rates)

French tech site Hardware.fr has published an article about hardware failure rates, you can check out all the numbers over here. It contains info about the most reliable motherboard brands, the most reliable power supply makers, the worst memory kits, the worst graphics cards, info about HDD failures, and more.

Here's a list of sixteen pieces of hardware that suffered from a return rate of more than 5 percent from March to September 2009:

- 6.9% pour la carte mère ASUSTeK P5Q-SE2
- 6.7% pour la carte mère Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3
- 6.6% pour la carte mère ASRock N7AD-SLI
- 6.6% pour la carte mère ASrock A770CrossFire
- 5.7% pour la mémoire OCZ 2x2 Go Platinum DDR2 PC2-8500
- 5.3% pour la mémoire Corsair 2x2 Go DDR2 PC2-8500
- 5.2% pour le disque dur Maxtor DiamondMax 22 500 Go
- 5.1% pour la carte mère ASUSTeK M3N78
- 5.1% pour la mémoire Corsair 2x1 Go DDR2 PC2-8500
