NVIDIA partners say GT200 is still in mass production

Earlier this day FUD Zilla claimed the GT200 has severe availability problems, and a couple of hours later Bright Side of News comes out with a report that the GT200 is still in mass production and that rumors about a phase out of these cards are untrue. The sites says it may be a regional issue, none of NVIDIA's US partners they contacted had any allocation issues, but some European partners complained they didn't get enough supply because all available parts get earmarked for the US.
We took the time to contact a few NVIDIA partners and ask them publicly and also to check with our sources to see if there is any truth to the rumor. We were surprised that we received a reply in a little less than five minutes after we sent the e-mails. Across the board, from both the public and the inside sources they all claim the rumor is untrue.

They all say that the GT200 parts are in mass production, with internal refreshes coming up soon from a few of them. This would seem to be the opposite of a part famine. We are continuing to reach out to our sources to see if we can find the source of the rumor and if there is any chance of there being truth behind this.
