BitTorrent's own mainline client, BitTorrent 6.2 is now a virtual clone of the lightweight, fast uTorrent 1.8.4—which is still available separately, and is still our overall top pick. (BitTorrent acquired uTorrent in 2006.) Vuze 4.2 includes plenty of nifty video-based features, but also offers a somewhat inconsistent torrent experience; experienced file sharers need not apply.
