AMD Phenom II 965 Revision C3 has lower TDP

AMD introduced Revision C3 of the Phenom II X4 965 BE processor, this new chip has a 125W TDP, compared to 140W of the previous edition. You can check out some measurements over at The Tech Report.

The site concludes idle power consumption did not change, and that load power consumption dropped by 9W.
