Acer chairman JT Wang invited other companies to cooperate on WiMAX and eReader products:
Acer chairman JT Wang, who also serves as chairman of the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), has invited China-based players to attend Computex 2010 and hopes participation could further expand Taiwan players' cooperation with China players over WiMAX products and e-book readers.

Wang said that Taiwan's WiMAX and China's TD/LTE communication standards share a very similar structure and therefore there should be much closer partnerships. However, since only about 15 China players have established offices in Taiwan for the communications segment, as of the end of October, Wang urged players to speed up cooperation in the future.
