NVIDIA recently suggested Moore's Law is not practical any more, but Intel CEO Paul Otellini counters this by stating Moore's Law will continue to work for the foreseeable future:
Intel’s CEO Paul Otellini said during the recent visit to China that “Moore’s Law will continue to work - More transistors on a single chip means enhanced performance. We offer SoCs from which consumers would benefit a lot - less cost, less power consumption, higher performance, and smaller size - that’s the essence of Moore’s Law.”

Otellini also claimed that the company is capable of designing the next three generations of chips. “Moore’s Law is the proval of people’s creativity, instead of a natural rule.”
