DigiTimes heard ASUS will introduce the G72GX notebook in Q1 2010, this is a new 17.3" notebook with 3D technology. It features an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTM 160M graphics, 4GB memory and two 320GB HDDs.
Asustek is also scheduled to launch its 15.6-inch 3D notebook G51J3D in mid-November featuring the same CPU, GPU, memory and hard drive specifications as the 17.3-inch model.

Since Asustek adopts a more advanced active shutter glasses for the 3D effect on its notebooks compare to Acer's Aspire 5738DG 3D notebook's polarized glasses, prices of Asustek's 3D notebooks are also expected to be higher than comparable models from Acer (US$779.99 in the US), the sources noted.
