VIA to announce new Intel chipsets

About a month ago we have already shared with you some details regarding the upcoming Pentium 4 chipsets from VIA (see this news story for details). At CES 2005 in Las Vegas more interesting details about the situation in the chipsets market and VIA’s plans appeared revealed.

Of course, VIA representatives specifically stressed their increasing successful production of the K8T890 chipsets, which started in full swing about two weeks ago. So, finally it looks like we are going to start seeing more and more mainboards on K8T890/Pro from VIA’s partners, such as Albatron, Soltek and others emerging in the shelves.
