MSI X-Slim X430 with AMD Athlon Neo X2 launched

MSI introduced the X-Slim X430, a new ultraportable laptop based on the AMD Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processors. The system has a 14" LCD display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, AMD RS780MN + SB710 chipsets, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics, up to 2GB DDR2 667MHz memory, up to 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium, 1.3MP webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, optional Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, HDMI, SD/SDHC/MMC memory card reader, external DVD burner (or Blu-ray), and a 4-cell or 8-cell battery. The system measures 349mm x 234mm x 24.5mm and weighs about 1.5g.
With Dual-Core Processor: The X430 features AMD's second generation ultrathin platform that uses the AMD Athlon™ Neo X2 dual-core processor. This processor provides ultra-thin, power-saving notebook computers with even greater processing power that not only offers power consumption of only 18W, a 60% reduction in consumption compared to traditional processors, but also AMD PowerNow!™ and ATI PowerPlay™ technology, which allows processing and display systems to automatically regulate processor speed and voltage according to individual program requirements, resulting in a significant increase in battery usage.
