Buffalo first with USB 3.0 Blu-ray burner

Buffalo has introduced the BR-X1216U3, the first external Blu-ray burner with USB 3.0 support. This new interface enables you to burn Blu-ray discs at 12x, while backwards compatibility is offered with USB 2.0 for burn speeds of up to 7x. This new USB 3.0 Blu-ray burner sells in Japan for 39,000 yen (about $448).
