Open-Source NVIDIA Graphics Driver Included In Linux

Nouveau is a free software project that came about to develop a fully open-source graphics driver for all graphics hardware that would provide 2D, 3D, and video acceleration support. This project was started a few years ago, but as of this morning, this work will finally be entering the mainline Linux kernel to provide open-source NVIDIA graphics support for everyone.
