Audi cars to get NVIDIA Tegra powered interface

FUD Zilla reports car maker Audi will use NVIDIA's Tegra chip for its navigation and user interface. It's possible that this involves NVIDIA Tegra 2, which is scheduled to be launched next year.
This announcement might involve Tegra 2 but we only know that the new solution should be superior to Audi's current MMI interface announced last January, here.

The new interface should be better, and even cooler than the one done in late January, and Nvidia could not be happier about it. We remember seeing some prototypes of Car 3D capable navigation 3 or 4 years ago and back then Nvidia told us that the auto industry is slow in adopting new technologies and that it might take some time to see the real results.
